Isaac Taillefert gebore Chateau Thierry, Brie, beroep: Hoedemaker, boer, trou 1671, Suzanne Briet, gebore Monneaux, Brie, Champagne, sterf bef 1715. Isaac sterf 1699. Arriveer met die "Oosterlandt" in 1688 saam met sy vrou en 6 kinders. Hy het eers in Monneaux gewoon, waar sy vrou wingerde besit het, en het na 1685 by haar familie gaan woon. Sy tuin is beskryf as foutloos, en hy was baie gasvry. Sy wyn was die beste in die land. Sy plaas se naam was Picardie, in Drakenstein.

Hy was getroud met met Suzanne Briet. Hulle en hul kinders het in 1688 met die
Oosterland' na die Kaap gekom. Hy was 'n hoedemaker van beroep en boer op Picardie en La Bri (Sien Juna Malherbe se artikel in Hugenote Bulletin No. 40 van 2003)
