    Medical doctor, 1924 private lecturer in pharmacology in Kiel, 1928 extraordinary professor,1931 ordinary professor in Marburg, since 29 November 1933 rector of the university.
    Killed in an accident during an exercise for military doctors in an aeroplane.

    Max married Getrud HINSBERG on 24 Mar 1920. Getrud (daughter of Gustav Adolf HINSBERG and Frieda Maria GREEFF) was born on 8 Oct 1891; died on 11 Mar 1940 in Marburg. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
