In the muster roll of free people taken at the Cape in 1692 his name is given as 'Diederick Janse Potter' but this Janse appears in none of the other muster rolls.

He and Zacharia are listed in the muster rolls from 1686 (I believe there are earlier references) until 1698. Then, in 1700, she is listed as the widow of Diederik Putter.

His children are listed as given in the inventory drawn up after his death in May 1699.

At his death he is listed with a house and land on the height called Roodebloem and a farm with buildings situated in the Tijgerbergen.

Roodebloem, 17 morgen in extent, lay at the foot of the Windberg in the Tafel Vallei and had been granted 31 March 1669. It was sold out of his estate on 1st August 1705 with adjoining grazing land rented from the Company. (MOOC 9/1/20, Koopconditien)

The farm in the Tygerberg was sold in 1714 to Hendrik Bouman and his estate was distributed to his heirs in 1716.

His estate does not seem to have been distributed to his childeren until 1716, however, his farm in the Tygerberg having been sold in 1714 to Hendrik Bouman. His children are listed as given in the inventory drawn up after his death in May 1699.
married 29 October 1679 at Cape Town Zacharia Jansz Visser circa 1667-circa 1721 of the farm, de Blomkooltje, Paarl

    Birth:
    Alternative location: Surenbergh

Diederik married Zacharias (Zachararayda) VISSER, a4b5 on 29 Oct 1679 in Stellenbosch, Cape, South Africa. Zacharias (daughter of Jan Coenraad VISSER, a4 and Margaretha (Geertjen) GERRITS) was born in in Holland, Netherlands; was christened on 28 Aug 1665 in Cape Town, Cape, South Africa; died in 1722 in Cape, South Africa. 2. 15.  Zacharias (Zachararayda) VISSER, a4b5 was born in in Holland, Netherlands; was christened on 28 Aug 1665 in Cape Town, Cape, South Africa (daughter of Jan Coenraad VISSER, a4 and Margaretha (Geertjen) GERRITS); died in 1722 in Cape, South Africa.

    Notes:

Pama has her as b2. (Pama Vol 3). A note written in the copy at the Mowbray Family History Library adds an older sister, Maria Jansz quoting Familia 1981 No 1 Page 8.

The year of birth in Heese Vol 4 (under Krugel) is a bit early. It would make her over 50 at the birth of her first son Hendrik although there is no date of marriage with Andreas's second wife given. It is possible that Zacharia never had any children with Andreas Krugel.

    S W le Roux has 23/8/1665.

She and her husband are listed in the muster rolls of free people at the Cape from 1686 (I believe there are earlier references) until 1698 but, for some reason I have not yet discovered, she is always listed as Zacharia Wagenaar. In her will of 1713 her name is given as 'Zackaria Jansz Visser' and her eight children by Diderik Putter are listed.

Her children are listed as given in the inventory drawn up after the death of Diederik Putter in May 1699, her own will of 1713 and the inventory drawn up after her own death in April 1722.
