    Louise Joubert is our ancestress through her children by both husbands: Jan Lombard's great-grandson married Jacobus de Villiers' great-granddaughter and their son was the Anglo-Boer War Genl P.J. de Villiers.
    He was also known as "Jacob de jonge" (Jacob the younger) He farmed at Nieuwe Dorp and de Goede Hoop, Drakenstein. on 22 December 1922 he was appointed a deacon in the Drakenstein congregation.
