A clear example of how people can jump to confusions. Izac and his family lived at Aberdeen in the Eastern Cape area of South Africa, which is not near the sea. The photo on the postcard is of the beach at Aberdeen in Scotland - a place where no member of the family had ever been!
I wonder how this postcard came to be in the family photo box.
